Autograph manuscript in three volumes entitled "My book"; being his recollections of young life growing up in East Canada; life in Utah, with opinions about the social customs of the Mormons; descriptions of life in the military under Patterson's command during the battle of Bunker Hill; his acceptance into the 1st New Jersey Cavalry as a cavalry man in Aug. 29, 1861. Memoirs begun in 1896 and completed in 1898 at the age of seventy-four.
